the pitch for the M6 needed  is 1 mm.

We confirm we need 40 m of 1/4" thick by 1" wide foam strip.

I talked to Dario this morning and I'm in the process of ordering the M6 screws. What thread pitch is needed?  McMaster-Carr has fine pitch (0.75-mm) or course pitch (1-mm).

Last week, Marc ordered a kit for inserting helical threads that includes an insertion tool that is expected to be delivered sometime today.
