[EIC-eRD110] Preparing the R&D meetings

Dear Colleagues,

We are expected to prepare slides for a 15-min presentation on Thursday 
and ensure that representatives from all groups participating in the 
project's activities know about the meeting. Looking at the proposal, I 
see the following institutions who did commit to invest effort:

JLab (funds requested)

BNL (funds requested)

USC (funds requested)

INFN (funds requested)

ANL (funds requested)

MSU (funds requested)

SBU (no funds requested)

CUA (no funds requested)

UCLA (no funds requested)

Please, ensure that each institution has a representative who can speak 
for them if necessary, or arrange with the activity leader to be 
represented. The meeting with management is scheduled for 1 pm - 2 pm 
this Thursday and you should have received the link to the meeting - 
please, let me know if you do not have it.

I would propose that each activity (commercial PMTs, LAPPD/HRPPD, and 
SiPMs) prepares 4 slides that we can put together and we meet tomorrow, 
8th of Sep, to discuss the presentation. I would propose that we meet at 
1:30 pm EDT with alternatives being 1 pm EDT and 2 pm EDT - please let 
me know if that is doable.

Subject: Preparing the R&D meetings

Dear Colleagues,

if you receive this email you are a participant and/or a preliminary
contact of one of the EIC project funded R&D efforts.

Anna Mendez will have by now organized a meeting time with all of you.
We will meet individually with all the projects throughout September.
These meetings are scheduled to run approx. one hour and you should
start with a 15 min presentation of your plans, which will be
followed by discussions. Your presentation should give a brief status
of the state of the respective R&D and then focus on your future work.

Of course we will also have time for you to ask questions.

Please note that all participants in your effort are welcome to join the
meeting. Please ensure that especially the representatives of all
groups participating in your effort know about the meeting.

We also assume that by the time of the meeting you identified 1-2
contact persons with which we will communicate in the future unless
you have not already done so.
