Minutes of Hall A Group Meeting: February 2, 2021

  1.  Thia Keppel
     *   Senior Staff
        *   DOE/SC EIC CD1 Review
           *   January 26-29, 2021
           *   Large review
              *   8 sub-committees
              *   33 reviewers in the panel excluded DOE observers
           *   Very useful recommendations (some to be answered before getting CD-1 approval)
           *   All the subcommittees recommended proceeding to CD-1
              *   Enormous accomplishment!
        *   Foreign Governments Sponsored or Affiliated Activities (FGSAA) form
           *   Lots of complaints/confusion from users about the FGSAA form
           *   The lab extended the deadline to submit
  2.  Robin Wines
     *   SBS
        *   Continue integrating CDet into ECAL and HCAL supports
        *   Working on details of ECAL support
        *   Checking experiment layouts
        *   Supporting installation activities
        *   Continue of GEn target
     *   MOLLER
        *   Working on shielding
        *   Pion donut support
        *   Beamline and pivot analysis
     *   SoLID
        *   inspecting turret, updated schedule for coil test
     *   Providing analysis and drawings of shield house platform for AHU install
     *   Documenting analysis of LCW changes and cryocan changes
  3.  Jessie Butler
     *   Work with S&A to layout SBS floor plate, BB track, and tower base mounting holes.
     *   Finish relocating electrical panels/equipment near rollup door – FML/subcontractors
     *   Begin relocating junction box behind green wall
     *   Continue building upstream bunker – on-going
     *   Clean up power and signal cables from where RQ1 was removed
     *   Leak check newly installed cryogenic valve on distribution can
     *   Continue clearing floor space on right side of the hall in preparation to move RHRS pass rollup door
     *   Measure and provide as-built dimension of LCW system to Design and Engineer team.
     *   Clean up and take out trash on Friday
