*Daily RC Report 5/27:*
We are now routinely delivering beam to production targets to
characterize background, collection and detectors. On last SWING
another S1 centering task was performed to learn the orbit to the
production target. The PEPPo video switcher died and we lost ~couple
hours to fix this ourselves. A Mott setup w/ quads for crested T=5.0MeV
was saved. On OWL The TS1 trigger scintillator was inserted and 8MeV/c
beam setup for studying backgrounds w/ 0.1mm and 1.0mm w/ spectrometer
in positron mode and jaws closed. The conclusion is that TS1 will need
to be used and that backgrounds don't vary much vs. spectrometer
collection setting. On DAY spectrometer collection tests were
performed. Using 6MeV/c beam the spectrometer transported +/-1.25%
momentum variation; the jaw were used to characterize the beam
locations. The beam was used to calibrate the phs in the E1 detector.
The shift concluded w/ collecting e- at 6MeV/c and 3MeV/c to measure
collection efficiency and phs in E1 detector.
*Noteworthy items:*
1. Tomorrow the lab will get busy again; and we'll have more support to
fix/correct things that need attention. Please send me description of
issues found over the weekend that need attention.
2. During the 10 shifts (80 hours) we've been down about 8 hours (6 on
Friday network storm+viewers & 2 on Sunday video switcher).
3. We've completed/collected information in 15 of 16 CB tasks & 4 of 10
CD tasks; thus, priority over ~coming days will be to translate CB
results into refined procedures and to support remaining CD
commissioning tasks.

Monday, 5/28 - SWING SL=Freyberger
Program (P_beam=6.08MeV/c, T=0.1mm)
At different spectrometer collections (3,4,5,6 MeV/c)
* Collect e- and log conditions (S1, SPEC, S2, Steering)
* Measure e- collection efficiency and energy spectrum
* Attempt same w/ e+
Tuesday, 5/29 - OWL SL=Suleiman
1. Injector access to remove E1 detector and restore polarimeter
2. Program:
* Plan A - CD8 Compton trigger assessment with e+
* Plan B - CD7 Trigger scintillator depolarization with e-
Tuesday, 5/29 - DAY, SL=Poelker
1. Commission fiber array w/ e-
2. Mott measurement as time permits
3. Setup P_beam=8MeV/c
