Thanks to everyone for the fantastic effort this week during our CD-2/3 IPR and for all the efforts over the years leading up to this point. The combined CD-2 and CD-3 approval will be a major step forward for the project, and the IPR could not have gone better. As you heard from the sub-committees in the closeout, there is across the board praise for what you have accomplished and how you have presented it. You really make PPU, SNS and ORNL shine.  We will look at the IPR closeout slides (attached here FYI) more closely, but really the few recommendations should be easily addressable, and this positions us well for scheduling an ESAAB for CD-2/3 approval in the next few months.



Next week we have the Independent Cost Estimate review. Behind the scenes this week preparations were taking place for this review. Probably the best preparation was the fantastic IPR out-brief this week, which provides a good starting point for next week’s review team.



So please relax and recharge this weekend – you all deserve it. I am so proud of all of you – fantastic team effort, and again – it could not have gone better.
